OMFG XD found my old screenshots from my very first save! I were terrified of walking on the ground, so I made roads in the sky. Which cured my fear of heights. I was terrified of making the road so high xDohhh the memories of epic <3 And that epic foreveralone mountain <3 D8< I miss some of the crazy terrains xD

You know, I think there is still away to get the old alpha versions now in 1.7.5 in the "Edit Profile" menu. Generate a world in that version, and come back to the world in 1.7.5.

I see people hating on the new terrain generation, but I actually like it... then again, I only know the new terrain generation, I never got to play the early versions of the game. I like how the biomes make more sense now, you don't get a desert next to a snow biome and stuff...

I have mixed feelings about it, I wish they had something inbetween of the normal and the amplified so we can get weird structures again xD Besides I hate how big the biomes are on the normal settings. It takes forever to find new things sometimes and its no fun

where was I talking about the amplified terrain? XD it looks cool in pictures but it's pain in the butt to get around in the wold by walking, been there, done that, was no impressed. XD. but yeah... I guess that a tall mountain here and there would be nice to have in the "normal" world

what's really cool, is when you plant four jungle saplings together, and then put bonemeal on them so they form one giant tree, you do that heaps, until eventually it just all sort of grows together, then you put grass on top of that, and you have a whole other level!

Building roads/rails over the ground is a perfectly legitimate safety measure in Minecraft. Mobs will be more likely to spawn underneath you instead of in position to kill you. Careful torch placement reduces that to virtually 0%.

If you can play normal Minecraft without crashing, you should be fine, just a bit laggy. Don't sue me for exploded CPUs though

it just means that it is recommended to use a powerful computer for best performance. but it could still be playable if your computer usually plays standard fine.

this biome.. i can't explain. I was spawned in a mountain which height were over the clouds. I felt like a king XD
I saw water and got the idea of jumping. not a great idea... I jumped and accidentally hit the ground instead of water... Never dive from a long ass mountain .
