in fact it was totally done in flash ...firstly using a code that draw letter instead of line and resize the letter with the speed of the mouse's mouvement...
i've use a wacom.
after that i've used another code using all the coordinate of the letters drawn with thier size to make a playback.
if anybody wants the .fla just ask me

i think it might be a combination of stuff... it may be that you've drawn such a realistic and beautiful picture of a person using only letters. The forms of letters are not that artistic in nature so making a picture so beautiful using two mediums that we are familiar with (those of the letters and the linear art) but clash in theme(letters belong in writing, lines belong in pictures) is kind of apealing - or interesting. These particular mediums are associated with two arts that are very different and yet very similar in their artistic expressions, or rather they both produce art but of two different kinds. It makes for a cool concept. And i think weather or not you get it the first time you look at/ watch the picture, i would imagine most people get the connection somewhere in their brains at some point. Oh- and everyone loves to watch something being drawn--> especially when the concept is so cool and interesting, its like a screen saver that you cant stop watching you want to see where it goes and its so pretty in the process, you get mesmerized... .
i love how it comes across on all these different levels..

i really don't know what to say ...this "medium" things about letters and lineart i'm ot totally agreeing with you ...cause in this case most of the letters a used as if it was "pixel" or mass to draw...so technically it is used as lineart more than typography ...
but i'm not in this kind of artistic reflexion ...the idea stay the base of the creation for me ...

Très bon boulot ! Juste une petite question technique : pour ce qui est de la typo, as-tu réalisé cela sous illustrator à base de tracés/texte ? Sinon, je ne vois pas comment réaliser cela dans photoshop par exemple, à moins d'avoir encore plus de patience que moi - lol ! Vraiment très bon, j'aime aussi beaucoup l'autre femme-typo et le mec.

I was zapping through galleries and I saw the drawing in someones fav. I had to hit the "Back" button to see it because I really liked the idea from that brife glance! great idea (and luckly the title is good becuase I wouldnt have returned to it if I didnt get the hint that letters were involved). being a beignner artist, I will only comment on the idea of the drawing, which is vary nice!
