:EDIT: Finally I got to coloring him in. I want his outfit. Anyway, Claudandus, or Claudy, as his friends call him, is a very wealthy demon with a high interest in the culinary arts. He loves food, and is an extraordinary chef and hunter. He often (against the laws of the Elders, of course) travels to other worlds (or goes World Hopping) to discover and find new foods he can cook and use for his dishes. He's a very kindly and charming demon, and welcomes all into his home.Drew this guy up yesterday.

Personally, I prefer the original German dub with English subs as it just feels more natual in how it was orginally presented and the dialogue felt more realistic. Don't you agree?

Yeah, I agree. Usually the original dubs are better with english subtitles. Another example of this is Arashi No Yoru Ni.

You got it! It is mostly the same with all other anime for me! There a few times where I think the English dub is better like Hellsing, but subs are my forte for the most part.

Interesting idea. I love his face the most, followed by his claw(s). He doesn't look evil, as given in your description, but seems to be searching for something. At the same time, that eye! The shading really makes it pop out, and I love the way you pulled it off.

Lol, I may sometime, but the thing is, the swamp water in Grotesquan swamps looks like blood, so i'd have to work on that a bit.

lol, my demons aren't evil. they just get the name demon from their appearance. they're sort of like everyday people, they choose how they want to act.

well, their souls are, in a way, recycled. if a being, like an elf or human etc., didn't do many good things in their past life, but didn't do anything necessarily evil enough where they would be sent to Vormae'uum (or Hell, in Ramendeera) then their souls could get a second chance. if two demons (or even one, possibly) wanted children (young demon children are called pups), they need to do a certain ritual. there are temples with these sacred bowls made of copper and silver, where one bone from each parent is placed inside, as well as two tears from the mother demon and two drops of blood from the father (acquired from their tongues, which is one of the only fleshy spots on their bodies). they say a magic chant over and over, the gods and goddesses choose a soul, and a pup eventually forms. Demons also have forms called Alternate Forms, which gives them the body of a mortal. Their Alternate Forms make them look like Velociraptors with smooth, black scaly flesh, and feathers that are the same colors as their symbols and eyes. Here's a crappy, old example [link] So if they wanted to, mate, per say, like regular creatures, they could use these, but they can't produce offspring this way. These forms can be dangerous for them, because they're mortal in them and more can harm and even kill them. Sorry for the long description. ^^'

lol, it just sorta comes to me. i have a lot of other stuff, demon and not demon related. i've been developing the demons for a few years now. The demon that started it all was, literally, this guy right here. [link] He looks soooo much better now though and has a better story. This was the first demon I ever drew, too, and their design has come a long way.
