Have you ever visited the Stave church in Norway..I think outside of Oslo? The huge doors are carved with all sorts of 'gripping beasts and inter-twinning beasts..from the 800's or 900's ad. I appreciate the details in your art, which some people forget..

Unfortunately I haven't seen them "in reality", only in photos. But I have seen a museum in Stockholm drawn here. I really like wooden architecture and some scandinavian examples are just magnificent

I'm sooo glad to read your comment! I saw quite a lot of inspirational buildings in Stockholm and it wasn't easy to decide which one of them I should draw. But this one looks precisely like an archetype of nordic architecture

I get you, I totally agree about the buildings! One of my absolute favourites
is the Nordic Museum! I believe you passed it on your way to this building!
I think you got the idea of the nordic architecture, this one I believe was made to look
like a typical nordic building, or more precisely a norwegian medieval church, haha!
