Chi is the daughter of Aku from the animated series Samurai Jack. Mimi is the daughter of Him from the Powerpuff Girls. Other references in the comic? The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Halloween Before Chrismas, Dexter Boy Genius, Danny Phantom, The Teen Titans and many, many more. There is even some cameo like the Teletubbies, Dora the Explorer and Capitain America.

In a word, a mix-and-match of most if not all of Cartoon Network's shows into a single coherent story. Go read it!
