This is another drawing of my Hollow Knight OC, Purpurea.

When Purpurea is in serious difficulty during the fight, when she's in extreme anger or stress situations or when a member of the Troupe is in danger, she can be overwhelmed by "Daymare" (the designs where her fur turns into a vivid scarlet flame) and becoming really savage, but such power is not suitable for her, so her body get permanently damaged by it every time "Daymare" gets control.

Anyways, I am happy that I finally wrote and completed her story and origins, you can find it here -> aminoapps.com/c/hollowknightam… . I'm not a writer, I sucks at writing let's be honest (moreover it was even more complicated for me to write in a language that is not my native), but I still had a huge desire to write and publish it because I really put a lot of passion and effort into it and I always try to give my characters a coherent story and design. In short, please, forgive the horrible writing and I hope you can find the story at least interesting to read. What I wanted the most was to let you know some important information and events that happened to her before joining the Grimm Troupe, and particularly her character evolution.

I've used CSP (Clip Studio Paint) as always for lineart and colors, while Photoshop to adjust a bit some effects. At first it was supposed to be a group of different drawings, but then I decided to put them all together and adding some infos, basically the final result is a concept art.

Most of her design has remained the same (I would say a good 98%), I have slightly changed the proportions and some details on her wings only. I've modified the proportion because I wanted to follow a bit more the rule of sexual dimorphism, typical of some animals, insects included and also humans. Obviously I didn't want to overdo it too much so I just made her body a bit broader in width, especially the chest and the hips, and her head slighly smaller than Grimm's one for example.
