heh, so this one has a fun backstory. i spent a couple of hours on it, was happy with the clouds, put the ladybug in. did a test print, and blow me down it came out practically black!rather than tweak the levels and whatnot, i stopped working on it, since the entire plan relied on being printable. but also very dark. it seemed like a waste, so i modified it to use as the background on my phone
hence, the relatively small pixel size.will likely be revisiting it, the good part is that i've had time to gestate on it. heck, i see it every day when i make or receive calls/texts/etc.
it will exist in the same universe/story/style as this ... did it in july 2009 in photoshop cs4

How does this not have oodles of faves and comments already?! I love it! The little Ladybug looks like he's flexing his muscles or something. I also really like the moonlight cast on the scene. It's kinda neat the picture feels like it's got a lot of quiet nighttime atmosphere, with the blue leaves, clouds, and sky, but then this energetic beetle steals the stage.
I am intrigued that this is from the same story as the turtle picture.
