I'm curious, how long did it take you to get to this level of proficiency with 3D applications ? Obviously the ape is awesome, this should have been in Planet of the Apes movie.

wow thanks a lot for your replies man! didn't expected that to be honest
made my day
I'm using Zbrush for 4 1/2 years now but in this time I taught myself besides
going to school for 3 years and then I did a 1 year internship in a gamestudio
thanks man!

That's a lot of time and experiance ! and I'm always honest when it comes to art !  Again I'm super curious - how was the internship ? Was  there much pressure on getting the models done quickly or was it more relaxed ?

thanks!
it was more relaxed because of the small team
but I had roughly one week for a character (I got a concept and then I had to do
a sculpt, a retopo, unwrapping and then I backed the textures like an ambient
occlusion/ normal /light map)
