Fire emblem engage vs Final fantasy brave exvius

Connections:

Both are rpg protaganists who had a somwhat simaler past fo losing loved ones due to unfortunate events (Alear losing their siblings getting killed by the fell dragon and Rain losing sophia under his fathers watch were she mysteriously died) and resented them

Both of them meet other heroes from other games of their series and can even summon them to help them in combat

Both end up returnign to their hone nations (Lapis and Lythos) only to find them being besieged and attacked by the enemy and raced to protect the king/queen and the people but results ended in a contrast (Queen lumera ended up dying in alwars hands and Rains king surviving) as the enemies true intentions were there to collect a powerful relic (An emblem ring and Sacred Ring of Paladia)

Throughout their journey as they seeked to fidn and protect the (emblems and crystals respectively) they do have a nice contrast on how they handled their tasks (Alear and co managed to succesfully protect the emblems from the enemy and the forces of the fell dragon but did lose some of the emblems to them bjt managed to regain them back while Rain and co failed miserably and the crystals were all destroyed and lost many allies along the way)

Both are royalty and become later on kings of does nations (Alear bejng the prince and now king of Lythso and Rain being royalty to aldore and becomjng the king of aldore afater defeating the emperor) and due to their positions havjgn nice contrasts on their rulings (Alear managed tk maintain good relationships with all the nations and Rain has to fix and dark legacy of aldore and quell the rebllions lead by vlad belivers)

Both fight undead enemies that are created vi magic (corrupted and zombies)

Both have a task with expectations to save the world (Alear bejng the divine dragon was expected to defeat the fell dragon who threaten the world, and Rain preventing the destruction of the world while stopping the visions hes be having from happening)

Both have powerful swords that were once held by people simaler to them (Queen Lumera another Divine dragin and Rains Father sir regeagon held the Crimson Saber) as they prevent evil forces from gaining precious iteams/relics within their world (Alear stoping the fell dragon from collecting all the emblem rings and Rain trying to stop the sworn six of paladia from destroyingt he crystals)

Both travel through time to the past at one point in their stories to defeat/destroy someone/something (Future rain trying to prevent the failure of destroying vlad and deaftign and destroying his soul with his past self and Alear Going back in tim to destroy the penultimate shard)

While I still really like Noctis vs Alear I slightly prefer this one more since I still prefer Ludger vs Noctis
