This is what Sten "should" had looked like in DAO, only with more pronounced horns, like the Arishok in DA2 or Ironbull in Inquisition.

That's what I thought too, then when I learned that the hornless Qunaris were considered special I grew to like him hornless, but I didn't like him looking too much like a normal humanoid

In my fanfic I depicted Sten as having horns. At the time when I started writing I wasn't aware that hornless qunari were considered special. I suppose the DA2 trailer influenced me somewhat with my fanfic.
