Légère comme une nymphe des neiges,
Les ailes en plumes de ,
Ses lèvres soufflant des flocons,
Ecume des séraphins flottants,
Cupidons aux culs carmins,
carmins arcs où l'âme inspire.
Noble orphelin Viens assoupir
mon zêle, que voguent les zéphyrs
Narguant l'azur ; apaise-les brises !
Car calme encore, la cascade s'écoule,
sous l'ample écrin
cristalline mousse
et Oh ! Vie qu'es-tu aveugle à mes dieux
Pour éloigner autant mes rêves de mes voeux !
Car chaque instant avive en moi l'éternel,
Et le désir s'accroît comme l'effet se recule ...

I have seen this photo on other sites (I hope that's allowed) & it is universally admired for the poignant sincerity, the simplicity, and the wonderfully pretty girl featured. I have gazed into those eyes and that enigmatic glance on numerous occasions and time I am drawn back for more. This would have to be one of the most singularly effective photo i have ever seen.
