This work is really good. I can't help myself, but I think this captures the spirit of Japanese rpgs - I have seen this kind of profile-portrays in the game booklets. The background scenery is also excellent and magical (long grass, bamboos, fireflies and moon - it's like a jump to Chinese mythology). Although, character and his gear looks like a Japanese ninja

GREAT colouring. The only thing I don't like is his blade. Kinda fat and stubby for my tastes.

The lighting effect here are very nice. It gives the piece some atmosphere. The shape of the dagger/sword is a little odd though.

I think you should put in some folds in the colthes in your artwork, otherwise it looks like it's flat...

*Very* nicely put together.

I think the only thing that throws me off just a little bit is the very different weights in his hands.

Good pose, effective background. Agreed with one of the other commenters, in that it's simple but complex. I can see everything really easily though, and the colors are so very nice.
