In this episode of The Office "Double Date" after Pam hits Michael, Michael decides fire her because of of her behavior towards him.(Pam hits Michael)
Phyllis: Holy Crap!
Pam: You okay?
Michael: No!
Pam: Your fine. (Walks off)
Jim: You okay?
Pam I'm fine.
Michael: STOP RIGHT THERE!
(Jim & Pam stopped and turned to Michael)
Michael: In my office...right now!
(In Michael's office)
Michael: Pam, I have absolutely have had enough of your behavior.
Pam: What do you mean? You ask me too...
Michael: I have had it with your attitude towards me and tone over me dating your mom.
Pam: You just dumbed her on...
Michael: I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, PAM! The first you heard about this, all you ever did was yell at me and talk to me in negative language. You even burst out in front of the employees, even your own husband.
Pam: Michael, that was a week ago.
Michael: I SAID I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! And now you just hit me, your own boss?
Jim: I asked her to do so.
Michael: Not a peep, Jim. You think you have the rights to do these things, Pam. But the truth is you didn't.
Pam: Michael, you were dating my mom. I was just upset.
Michael: Oh really? Over finding a romantic rose in your family who is intrested in me and for dumping her for your feelings? Give me one good reason WHY I SHOULDN'T FIRE YOU RIGHT HERE IN THIS SPOT!
Pam: WHAT?
Jim: Michael, you can't do that!
Michael: I can and I will, because I'm the boss of this branch and I give the orders.
Pam: You ask me to me to hit you, and suddenly your firing me?
Michael: It's what deserve for your actions towards me.
Pam: Michael, please I'm sorry! I'll do anything.
Michael: You should've thought of that before you plotted out an ultimate rage torwards the office. The decsion has now been made, Pack up and get out...NOW!
(Pam cries as Jim carries her to her desk, packs her stuff and leaves. Ryan and Kelly comes into Michael's office)
Ryan: Michael, your firing, Pam?
Kelly: You can't just do that!
Michael: I'm sorry my friends, what's done is done.
(Ryan and Kelly were speechless)
Michael (Fourth Wall): I had to do it. It had to be done. I mean it's what a boss has to do, right? I'm gonna take anymore of my employees getting away with doing what they think is right, they deserve massive punishments, don't they? Sometimes, a bosses got to do what he's gotta do, fire their employees when they're bad. It's over, it's done.
