Hi. I am about to publish a novel online. Your work captures the feel of the novel quite nicely. I am tired of waiting on word from agents, and am considering publishing online. The novel is extremely good. Especially if you enjoy Tolkein and Robert Jordan. What do I need to do if I would like to use something like this?

It looks like the guy who's doing the Hobbit should have hired some other artist...like you, perhaps, for their conceptualization design and such. I give the other two credit where credit is due, but this...this is fucking amazing.

I'm with you that this piece is amazing. Well detailed and a very clear vision.
But let's also keep in mind that Alan Lee is pretty much solely responsible for the look people often attribute with any visual Tokien interpretations. Let's also keep in mind that Lee, John Howe, and the other concept artists at Weta did literally tens of thousands of works for The Hobbit and LOTR. Multiple works per person per day over a period of years. I'm sure if they had the time to make sure that every piece was on par with this kind of quality, they would have done so.

Agreed, I'm not slighting Alan Lee or John Howe, or any of the other people working at WETA or anywhere else for that matter on the LOTR or The Hobbit in any way shape or form...but you have to admit, this image is kick ass.
