Description I'll admit that I'm not the best photographer out there. I don't usually take many photos, and the majority of the ones I do take often end up being average. But once every so often I take one that pleases me - this is one of them.

A few summers ago I went with my friends to the edge of Lake Superior on the upper peninsula of Michigan for a backpacking trip. We spent several days hiking around in some of the most beautiful forests that I have ever seen. Naturally I brought a camera to capture some of the sights. After we had left the forest on our last day, the lot of us decided to spend some time at the lake itself. As we were getting into our van to go home, I realized that I still had one exposure left on my little disposable camera. Before I got into the car I turned around and took this shot - the last thing I saw before leaving.

First impressions might be important, but last impressions seem more poignant.

I like it's colours - and this is a very beatiful landscape.
But try putting a border to photographies. It enhances their tones.
