Description
The next day Daisy wakes up and gets ready for her day. She’s still pretty bloated from last night so she puts on the baggiest shirt she could find to hide it. She goes next door again to help Val move more boxes. After about a half hour of moving boxes around Daisy starts to sweat. The fact that Val’s house doesn’t have AC isn’t helping either. Val and Daisy go downstairs to take a break and cool off. Daisy tells Val how much she loved her pie and almost let’s it slip that she ate the entire thing alone. Daisy ends up lying and telling Val she shared it with her friends but this backfires and Val decides she’s going to send her home with more than one pie today so she can give one to her friends. Normally Daisy would try to politely reject when people offer her food but Val’s baking is unreal. Daisy is overheating so she asks Val if she could take off her flannel. Obviously she’d rather not strip down in someone’s house who she doesn’t know extremely well but she trusts Val and is uncomfortably hot.
