Background Information

Place of Origin: Meteor falls. Caught as a bagon; literally, caught from drowning.
Personality: Orion used to be very confident. He was strong, proud, and loved a good battle against anyone. Up until an incident, Orion wasn't afraid of anything. Nowadays, he gets nervous about battling. He'll attack and follow orders, but not often at full power. Where he used to be able to use the salamencite and evolve, now he gets too scared to go through with it. Even around other pokemon on the team, he is careful not to hurt anyone or play rough. Presuming he's on the ground. True to his nature, he adores his wings and doesn't like being on the ground much at all. Even if he is grounded, he'll always proudly have his wings spread. Despite his timid nature, he'll rush immediately to defend any of his friends in danger and use his full power if they're threatened. Otherwise, he can be as timid as a doormouse when battling.
History: In his travels through the famous Meteor Falls, Arin heard some yelping noises when near the waterfall. He came upon the base right at the moment a bagon fell over the edge and plummeted into the water. After rescuing the bagon, Arin used the medicine he carries to revive the small pokemon and bring it back to life. It was small and weak, but after agreeing to come with him, Arin put a lot of heart and energy into training the dragon. As a shelgon he was awkward and clumsy. As a salamence he become powerful and confident. Arin saw no point in trying to submit the dragon in contest competitions since he would have to be grounded for an extended period of time. Instead, Arin would enter the dragon in gym battles and fight anyone who had an itch for a battle. Ever since a recent incident, however, Orion hasn't had the same desire to battle and get stronger. Arin is hopeful that the new competition in Aitema will help bring the salamence back out of his shell again.
