actually i have been doing this style for the past three years...i moved on to my recent style of woodcut like effects as i believe that i have to develop a more personal style that is unique, but im in sometimes returning to this style

JRR Tolkien made an ent up-- they're these creatures that are essentially tree guardians. The face here really reminds me of one.
