In october 1920, max ernst collaborated with jean arp on a series of collage works which ernst dubbed as FATAGAGA, an acronym for "fabrication de tableaux gasométriques garantis“ roughly translated as "fabrication of pictures guaranteed to be gasometric"...90 years have passed and the enigma of the FATAGAGA have never been solved, and it is my pleasure to continue that legagy by evermore hinting at the impossibility of comprehension to understand itself before committing adultery in the altar of the "modernist church"...
