I due love these sets that you posted for the 26, they pasted me about 2 hours before, but didn't look quite as beautiful because of the time difference.

I will get no pics of the moon this night- because Frankenstorm is about to nail us and knock all of our power out for many days. Have a happy Halloween, and I hope you get the chance to capture the full moon this night.

You are on the East coast? I just got my power back 9 days after the fact. We have a noreaster outside now. I hope we do not lose power again. XD

Oh, I was talking about Hurricane Sandy. I managed to get a picture the day after the storm of the moon (the storm came on the full moon). It sucks, but maybe I will post it soon.

Yeah, we got hit with some of it.
Not as bad as other states though.

I have been without much news-other than what I caught on the radio until today. Yeah, we got creamed. The worst I have ever seen here.
Well, I am glad it is over- even though it ruined my Halloween.

I feel really bad for Staten Island. There is snow on the ground outside- in early November. XD These are strange days.

Perhaps it is a changing planet. Nothing lasts forever. Most of upstate New York is fine- it is just the coastal parts that got nailed.

I would agree with you concerning people who live near the water- but a lot of the damage was well inland-caused by falling trees. It is a once in a 20 year thing that we get a hurricane, but it has been 2 years in a row now.
I remember going to a parking lot in the beach. There was a yacht called "serenity" that must have floated and have been dragged across the parking lot to lay to rest on a telephone pole. It is a shame I did not have a camera handy - it said it all.

Most of the serious damage was flood damage, but overall I believe the fallen trees were the more familiar bane of our existence. Nothing ever stays as it was- particularly out here. I was not planning on staying too much longer anyway.
