Tiny water droplets in a design of
a heart on top of a CD
Simple but pretty!!Sorry for so much water droplets lately.
I've just been in a lot of physical pain with my
jaws/back/hips/legs that this is something
I can do and still learn a lot. Even though
I am not moving around much. I still really
enjoy these photos and I enjoy seeing what
I can come up with so if you don't like it

Hehe, it is. It took forever to capture.
I had to lay the design out like 40 times
before I was able to get this photo
It took forever & a lot of patience before
I was able to to this point with the drops

I thing these type of drawings look great on walls. I think at least rich people (or with lots of points) should buy these prints.

know that droplets can be beautiful like this, so
I don't get many bites nor sales of my macro works
outside dA but that is okay. I enjoy it a lot and do it
for that purpose and if others enjoy them also, even better

simple when it comes to the end result,
but otherwise it is a very difficult
idea to get right. I had to apply that
heart design close to 50 times before
I was able to pull off a nice heart

of me setting the droplets up like this
until I was happy with the heart

It looks like it much have taken ages, you must have the patience of a saint! But I do understand that feeling inside when you have that spark , that vision and NOTHING will stop you!

I do, my patience is amazing sometimes
when it comes to my own work and the things
I go through sometimes for a shot
I had this idea in my head for a few days so
I had to see if I could actually do it,
not just think it. And it worked out
better then I thought it would!!

That's really cool when you have an idea in your head, spend hours trying to set it up and take the shot. When it turns out better than you expected it really makes it worth while.
I am still waiting for an enormous thunder storm , the bigger the better! I want lightning dancing all over the sky, now that is a shot I have in mind. I have taken a photo of lightning before (with my old 35mm film SLR) but want a better one!

When I have a nice big thunderstorm I am going to put my camera on a tripod and direct it in the direction to where the action is, I have a longish exposure like 1-4 seconds, and use motion detection and or sound detection these cool feature's are in an excellent additional software that you can download that customizes your camera and give it really cool features. The software is free, have you heard of it? it is called magic lantern.

Very small droplets have more of a
round shape to them but it also depends
on the surface to which you are trying
to set up the droplet on. So a lot
of things come into play with the actual
shape of the water droplet

I see and I imagine on a flat surface you are trying to make sure they don't slide around. Would be interesting to see how you do it one day.
