Yes, Raven's being an old grump again.Or you could look at it from Raven's point of view. Sometimes 'no' doesn't mean 'try harder'. Anyway, it must be a good book. I hope Starfire's futile squirming won't be too distracting.

They did drop a few hints...
First of all, her emotions control her powers, so she repressed her emotions so that she didn't destroy everything she walked past. You find this out in the episode raven and starfire switch bodies.
Secondly there's that thing where her dad is pretty much the equivalent of space Satan...

Now that I've had time to truly appreciate this piece, I personally think it would be improved by the removal of Starfire's blindfold. Being able to see her confused and betrayed facial expression would, I feel, really add to the piece.

Zoo animals. I did an entire panel with nothing but Starfire's dialogue to get a "wall of sound" effect, then superimposed the figures over it. Unfortunately the figures obscure some of the jokes.
