Posting old work to reestablish ownership.Shinji's tuning out Asuka's daily tirade with a means of silencing her venom. If only he had the guts to do it.
When I first posted this, I got some criticism about Asuka's dialogue. If I was fluent in German, I could have done a better job. I didn't throw that stuff in there to actually be read. It was just a visual to demonstrate she was berating him. I threw the odd German phrases in there because for some reason I find the thought of Asuka cursing in German to be sexy.

Seeing you already commented that the german in the wall-of-text is mainly for decorative purposes I'll avoid being a grammar nazi.
Still, it's kinda like engrish in japanese media. It stands out very quickly.

Frankly, this is the only way I could enjoy Asuka's presence. I never did finish that series.
