Description Some Pokemon RPers might know who this Treecko is. For the rest who might not know, meet Azalea the Treecko, daughter of Toffee the Feraligatr and Fern the Sceptile.

Because her father is a Feraligatr, Azelea has more sharper teeth compared to a normal Treecko, because of this, she's a little self-conscious about this so rarely talked. If she does talk, she always has her hands cover her mouth so no one would see her fangs.

Of course, should the circumstances rise, she will use her fangs to perform the move she was born with, Crunch.

Yeah, I know. I just wish that laptop batteries could last a whole lot longer like desktop batteries do. A least those large computers have batteries that never seem to go out like their smaller counterparts. Anyway, I've been spending a whole lot of time playing as the new character Joker, who is finally a part of the Smash Bros. family in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and he's a lot of fun, but he's also complicated to play as unlike the other legendary cast which takes me some time to get used to his controls. I think I've abandoned playing as Dark Pit, Yoshi and Falco for good, choosing Joker over all three of them. Even though he's a teenager, he sounds like an adult, probably because he's voiced by the same guy who does the voice for Master Hand, Crazy Hand and the announcer, which I was totally mind-blown to learn about.Β

Huh. I see. But yeah, Smash Ultimate is a lot harder than the old ones this time. It's so advanced now that the CPUs can really read your button inputs.Β

Yeah, no kidding. No wonder people are saying that Ultimate is a lot harder now with the CPUs stronger and harder. Believe me, I've actually seen videos of CPUs in Smash Ultimate do some crazy things us humans would never do and be able to pull off. And just to make matters worse, they STILL come after you, even if they've been set to level 1, just like in the old Smash games. They NEVER go after CPU opponents which is even scarier. And there are some new Challenges that require you to beat them, which is I say impossible to do. That's why I like actually watching them fight each other rather than fight them. I've only gotten lucky beating them with Bowser and Inkling, but I suffered some major falls because of those stupid challenges. Those CPUs certainly aren't messing around this time and I have to say, Nintendo really went all out making them incredibly difficult to beat in Ultimate. That's a huge yikes right there, you got that right.Β

Jazzymusic1991 In reply to GrovyleFangirl1997 [2019-04-30 19:11:23 +0000 UTC]

Β I was just playing as Joker today and this idea popped up into my head on how to help you. Here's my advice: ALWAYS fight against a Level 1 opponent. This is what I've been doing since I've played the first-ever Smash Bros. and I haven't, not even ONCE, changed the number strength. Plus, if you have a Defense Spirit with you, like with me, I have Alucard as my main spirit, for example, it could help you out, as well as having an Autoheal Spirit like Celebi and Elise. But since you're using Lucario, use a secondary spirit with Aura Attack Up, a Critical Hit Spirit like Mario or Mr. Game and Watch for your third spirit and the Hyper Smash Attack Spirit Victini, if you already have them. Alucard is a sword-fighting Spirit and he's been very helpful during my battles as Joker, even if he uses a knife and not an actual sword as his official weapon. I was fighting Palutena today at Mementos and I did a number on her. I hit her so hard that the percentage went up all the way to 80% thanks to the spirits I had equipped Joker with. Sometimes, it'll even go past that limit if I charge up my strikes.Β

PS: I've seen how brutal Level 9 CPUs are in Ultimate. Heck, they don't even care about hitting their other teammates. That's why I made a promise to myself to NEVER set their CPU levels to Level 9. I've had a long history of playing all of the Smash games not to know how these CPUs work by just watching them.Β

Jazzymusic1991 In reply to GrovyleFangirl1997 [2019-05-04 13:03:49 +0000 UTC]

Hmm. That's actually not a bad idea. A friend of mine on here yesterday told me to just take it slow. Just do one level at a time, like this: start with Level 1 first, then, if you're REALLY confident in yourself, increase the level of your opponent. It'll give you a real challenge. Did you see the colored numbers above each character? You can make them stronger by increasing that number {1-9}. Once you reach level 9, the strongest your CPU opponent can go, then you'll have an incredibly tough challenge to do. Me, I don't face off against Level 9 opponents. I haven't done it at all in any one of the Smash games except Ultimate since now you actually have to do it.Β
Heck, even the Level 1 CPUs have gotten stronger. I know because I just played as Joker and fought Palutena, my favorite opponent, at Mementos yesterday.Β

Speaking of challenges, there's one where you'll have to face off against a Level 9 CPU with 500HP with no spirits to help you. Your next assignment is beating one with 3 points, in a stock or stamina battle, your choice, also with Spirits AND handicaps off. I've already completed these two challenges with Bowser and of course, Dark Pit was my opponent at Level 9. It took some time for me to actually beat him, though.Β

Here's the challenges that I did: BEAT A LEVEL 9 CPU BY AT LEAST 3 POINTS IN A 2-PLAYER BATTLE. THIS MUST BE DONE WITHIN 3 MINUTES, WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.

SECOND CHALLENGE: BEAT A LEVEL 9 CPU IN A 2-PLAYER BATTLE. THIS MUST BE DONE WITH 500 STAMINA, WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.Β

THIRD CHALLENGE: BEAT A LEVEL 5 CPU IN A 2-PLAYER BATTLE. THIS MUST BE DONE WITH 500 STAMINA, WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.Β

FOURTH CHALLENGE: BEAT A LEVEL 9 CPU AT LEAST 2 POINTS IN A 2-PLAYER STOCK OR STAMINA BATTLE. THIS MUST BE DONE WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.Β

FIFTH CHALLEGE: BEAT A LEVEL 5 CPU BY AT LEAST 3 POINTS IN A 2-PLAYER BATTLE. THIS BE DONE WITHIN 3:00, WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.Β

SIXTH CHALLENGE: BEAT A LEVEL 5 CPU BY AT LEAST 2 POINTS IN A 2-PLAYER STOCK OR STAMINA BATTLE. THIS MUST DONE WITH SPIRITS OFF AND WITHOUT HANDICAPS.Β

SEVENTH CHALLENGE: AS INKLING, BURY A LEVEL 9 CPU INTO THE GROUND 3 TIMES WITH THE SIDE SPECIAL, SPLAT ROLLER.Β

EIGHTH CHALLENGE: REACH 250% OR MORE DAMAGE DURING BATTLE.Β

PS: To win the eighth challenge, use another controller and be sure to use the Lip's Stick item for this one. MAKE SURE you watch the percentage, because it'll go up to 250% pretty quickly. I actually had to do this one and it wasn't that hard like the rest of the Challenges in Ultimate. I did all of these Challenges above by only using Bowser.Β

PSS: Did you even look at the Challenge panel in Ultimate? Those pages have all kinds of challenges that you can do, just like these ones. I've only completed half of some of the panels, though. I don't do the rest, just ones that I know I can do. Hope this advice helps you, my friend!Β

My bad. Sorry about that, buddy. But if you use Lucario, you should definitely use that method I was telling you about. Which Smash game do you have?

PS: Ultimate, since it is the final game in the series, is much harder, but it's fun to play. I have nearly all of the spirits but I don't really care about Piranha Plant because of he'll actually corrupt your save files. I'm just happy with what I have right now.Β

PSS: The company, Atlus, who's working on the new Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, made an announcement saying that the new game will actually arrive this fall. Man. It takes me back when Spyro: Reignited Trilogy was out on the same month last year. I don't really care about Persona 5: Royal or its new female character who greatly idolizes Joker.Β

Oh. I had that one, but I graciously donated it and my 2DS, along with the other games to someone who doesn't have a gaming system or games. I gave my handheld up to someone else to make them happy, because I'm much happier with the Nintendo Switch, my Sonic Forces and Smash Bros. Ultimate games. I was like 'you know what? I'll give up my 2DS to make this person happy. I know it will because it's served me well over the years I've had it'. But yeah, other than that, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, is going to be the final Switch game that I'm going to get. I have no interest in Persona 5: Royal, which actually comes out next year.Β

Aw! Thank you. You're so sweet. Well, honestly, Ultimate is a lot fun, but unlike the previous versions, which I've all played, this one is giving me a real challenge this time and in my personal opinion, it's a thousand times more fun. The good news is that I have almost every single Spirit. I need Piranha Plant, but I'm not going to bother getting him because he can corrupt your save files, meaning you'll lose everything: your milestones, Challenges, unlocking all of the characters and spirits, your progress in Adventure Mode and all of the spirits on the Spirit Board, including Joker's own version of it. Anyway, I have every single character unlocked, thanks to me playing the Adventure Mode in Ultimate. I'll be getting additional things next year, including more stages which are brand new, new Fighters and new music tracks to listen to. I got Joker and his stage Mementos on Easter Sunday, including the music tracks for the stage. Once everything is ready for February 2020, I'll finally have everything for Ultimate. The only thing with Joker is that you'll have to buy him from Eshop, including the Fighters' Pass and Mii costumes. I'm very happy that I got Joker because, unlike the rest of the cast, the leader of the Phantom Thieves is so much fun and he moves so elegantly and beautifully. That's what I love about him and I'm happy he's finally found a place for himself in the legendary Smash family.Β

PS: Before Ultimate even came, however, some people were threatening Sakurai and even making their own assumptions of who was going to be in the game. Like this one person who wouldn't leave Sakurai alone, wanted Geno and Waluigi in the game, including Sora and Banjo Kazooie and Spyro. However, this didn't happen and I'm very happy it didn't. Sakurai has done everything he could to make Ultimate special and it makes me upset when people don't realize how hard this man has worked on the legendary series and want even more from him.Β

PSS: One thing I love about the Switch if you have Ultimate is that you can listen to it as a music player. I just go to My Music and listen to the songs/music instead of going to my Playlist and putting the system in Sleep Mode.Β

NOTE: Ever since I've played Ultimate, I've NEVER created my own Mii. I DID for 3DS/Wii U, but I've never played with it because to me, Miis don't belong in Smash games.Β
