Today was just a shit day. You woke up late and had to run to work since you missed your bus and your co-worker, Blake, sat on his ass all day like usual so you had to run around your workspace making sure it was clean for today’s monthly management inspection. Blake had put the blame for it still being messy on you and the managers believed it! And then he just had to take your vacation days you were already scheduled; the nerve of him! When you left the building to go home from one of your other co-workers, Laura, ‘accidently ‘spilled her Starbucks all over your new clothes.; she always seemed to try and ruin your day. You really felt like breaking down but you knew how to look on the brighter side of bad days like how your boyfriend Gabriel would be visiting, a relaxing bath, and a line of movies to binge watch.

You sighed as you grew closer to your cozy home; you couldn’t wait to strip off your coffee stained clothing and hop into your warm, cozy pajamas. Before even able to step one foot onto your property you somehow sleep and land face first on the ground, causing you to get a bust lip, scratched cheek and forehead, and a very sore and bleeding nose. You groaned aloud and tears stung your (eye color) eyes. You slowly get off the dirty ground and noticed your knees didn’t leave unscathed as well. ‘Perfect…Just fuckin’ perfect.’ Now you were practically dragging yourself inside the house, just wanting the day to end completely. Before you got to your bathroom to clean up you heard the familiar sound of wings flutter behind you; Gabriel. As much as you loved Gabriel, today was just not a good day.

“Hey sugar, you ready to be whoo’d by charming ‘ol me?” You could hear the playful smirk in his lovable voice.

“Hey Gabe, I’m not really feelin’ it today, or feeling to do anything we planned. I’m sorry.” You mumbled, barely audible. You heard his footsteps grow closer.

“What’s the matter babe?” He placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. You slowly turned to face the archangel and you saw his whiskey colored eyes grow wide with worry at the sight of you. “What happened?”

“Just a shitty day, Gabe. A really shitty day.” You sniffled and wiped a tear away. He didn’t say anything; he just wrapped his arms around you. You always enjoyed Gabriel hugs because you could always sense when his wing wrap around you. You buried your head into his shoulder and stayed like for a few minutes. The archangel broke away slowly and stared into your eyes.

“Do you want to talk about it, sugar?” You nodded and the two of you sat down on your couch. You told him everything; waking up late and missing the bus, Blake being the asshat he is, Laura always trying to ruin your mood, and the fall outside. You didn’t realize tears were free falling from your eyes until Gabe wiped them away with the pad of his thumb; carefully avoiding the scrape on your cheek.

“I can fix these problems, trust me. Let’s start with your injuries.” Before you could say anything, he placed his two fingers to your forehead and you felt the warm sensation of his grace sweep through your body.“Now your clothes.” He snaps his fingers and instantly you were now wearing your cozy pajamas. “Now vacation day’s are back too.” He snaps his fingers once more.

“Thank you, Gabey-poo.” You smiled and cuddled up to him. He placed a chaste kiss on your forehead and nuzzled his face into your (hair color) hair. “I really enjoy moments like these.”

“I do too.” After awhile you had fallen asleep in the angels embrace. Gabriel smiled softly and picked you up bridal style and carried you to your bed. He laid you down gently and pulled the covers over your body. He snaps his fingers and he is now in a random pair of boxers. Gabe slides in under the covers next to you and cuddles up to you; his golden wings cocoon around you two as he began to drift off into sleep as well.
