Description
Shepard stared into the sky. It didn’t take long before a small dot in the distance turned into one of her familiar silhouette.
The Normandy sojourned near the landing zone. A moment later, the hangar door opened and a shuttle left the ship
toward the landing pad. Kayla felt an indescribable sense of relief as the door of the shuttle opened and
she looked at the faces of her long-lost friends, especially Liara’s.
An instant later, Kayla and Liara already felt in each other's arms.

As Shepard opened her eyes she was in her quarters alone again. The view from the opposite window brought her back
to reality and let the memory of the dream fade away quickly.

After Shepard spent some time on the bridge and informed herself about the current state of the incoming ship,
she had gone to her quarters to rest a while.
Kayla rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and checked her terminal. Cerberus was at least three hours away.
Still enough time to eat something and go back to the bridge.
