I have studied animation, and could well venture into that realm. The reason I do not, though, is simply an issue of time. my income pretty much relies on my ability to put out 1-4 pieces a day, and as a full-time student, in the foreseeable future you won't be seeing any long-form animations from me. perhaps someday! But currently, the long-form comics seem to be a more viable approach.
