Description Based on an article on Mad Cow disease for my illustration class. Watercolor, oil, gel and crackling medium (if you look at the background, there are tiny cracks) There were three other ones that had the same technique....and man did they smell. Crackling varnish will make your apartment a toxic nightmare even with the windows open. The outcome however is really cool if you ever play with the crackling varnish. It cracks over a few hours and you wash the surface with oil paint and rub it off. The oil paint drys into the cracks and there you go. Ah, yep, mad cow. Sucks to be one. I ate meat in Europe when I was little in the 80's and can't give blood. Hmm...I really wonder if that's true.
