Description My sweet Andy, who lost his 2 year battle with cancer on 1/24/2012, at almost 13 years old.

He was adopted from a local rescue after being taken in as a stray. We got him when he was 10 months old.

He loved to lay on that Pillow Pet.

This photo inspired me to draw this:

**edit July 23, 2012** I have adjusted the colors and fixed a few issues I had with the photo. Since Andy has passed on, I don't have the option of retaking the photo, but I do want it to look as good as possible. So there you go.

I wanted the unicorn but my mom wouldnt get it for me and im like mom why and a couple of day later i got a giraffe pillow pet thats my friends dad got me

Awww poor Andy, it's nice there's a picture of him out there so he can be remembered. It must have been so sad when he passed.

It was so sad! But he was so sick....It was the right thing to do. And yes, I am SO glad I got this photo of him while he was fat and healthy.

We have a new kitten. Our dogs found him under our bbq grill one afternoon. I thought they had a rat, all I could see was small and furry. Turned out to be a tiny tuxedo kitten. He's pretty cute and Loki is happy to have someone to play with.

Yeah, it was the right thing to do when our dog Mollie had heart failure. She lived with my grandparents for the last couple of years and once I heard she was ill I rushed over with my mum to see her. She seemed happy to see me one last time and that's when my mum decided that Mollie was too poorly to carry on. It was very sad though. I wish dogs had life spans like humans do, to be honest they deserve the long lives more. There are heaps of bad people, but there's no bad dogs. It's sad really.

Awwww a new kitten! That's so cute and really kind of you to take him in. At least he's got a good home now and I'm glad Loki seems happy with the new friend. You MUST post pictures of the kitten. If you want to that is.

I know, animals are so great, they are definitely not with us long enough!

Yes, Loki acted really weird for a long time after Andy died, but he's like a kitten again. He and Sox play together all the time, it's great! And I will definitely post a pic!!

We always said he was too pretty to be a boy! When we first saw him at the shelter I thought he HAD to be a boy and was going to name him Angel.

LOL, it's kind of funny. There was a show called "Touched by an Angel" that I used to love. The Angel of Death on the show was a really cute blonde guy with really blue eyes whose name was Andrew. So that's how he got his name, because of the whole Angel thing, and the blue eyes. I kind of wanted to name him Frank after Frank Sinatra for his blue eyes, but he was just too pretty to be named Frank.
