Here's another; Foxes are one of the few predators to a hedgehog. How about Sonic, or another hedgehog character, fear Tails for no reason?

I know hedgehogs anoint themselves and all (i personally own one with the person who just commented above me)- but i wasn't expecting sonic here to do it by spitting it in the palms of his hands before rubbing it all over himself. XD It's like hes taking a bath in it pretty much!

When I visualized it, I kind of automatically saw him spitting in his hands first... His body is mostly his head, so it didn't sound practical to have him try to turn around and lick himself on the back like a real hedgehog (which he hardly resembles anyway, ehe).

Heh, makes sense IMO. Usually i just visualize him just getting it on his shoulder with his mouth- barley has the neck (if any) to reach that far back anyway. XD Kinda a pun in my version to say the least.

Uh, there isn't really NO answer to why they anoint. It's more of a guess.

My hedgehog seems to do this a lot when I give him some yogurt drops. Not to mention he looks like a pink spike ball afterwards. Not to mention he smells like strawberry. *shot* More funnier when I give him green pepper. Then he gets a crown on top of his little head.
Hmm...I wonder how Weresonic would anoint. Oh gees, that would be really bad. XD;

WereSonic would probably have better luck being able to turn around and anoint the normal way rather than manually.
