I animated Crow turning INTO Flora-Disease Darkky!I really need opinions-
I don't know if you all know this- but i honestly have never really animated before- this being maybe- my 3rd ACTUAL try
Don't put stuff like "It's not clean and polished" or "Why is it pixel?"
I have no idea how to animate- I just wanted to try 'v'

ahh this looks great ;o;
hmm for stuff to improve to maybe have the head straight in the middle and have the canvas to larger so it wouldn't cut off the top of the ears and side of the head, have a ref guideΒ for turning side to side how the muzzly looks odd when turning.
other then that this looks great for a try ;w; hope this helpsΒ

I couldn't make the canvas bigger because i'm using Piskel (I can't use anything else to animate on Chrome OS)
and i'll def try getting refs 'n stuff!

This is really great for only a third try at animating! I would say that I think it is a bit too fast for his transformation which makes it look unnatural sort of if that makes any sense, but with time I know that will change because you're new at animating!
I think why the first person that commented said the muzzle looks strange is because the muzzle wouldn't be dipping down like it looks like it is, it would be moving back in forth in a straight forward motion, because it seems like you were trying to have them look side to side as they were transforming. It's hard to describe, and I know I'm probably not doing a great job, so sorry about that!
What I'm basically trying to say is that the muzzle and nose wouldn't be pointing down in one of the frames, and it would be facing straight forward like they are looking at you. This is still an amazing job, because I can't animate whatsoever, so I commend you on a great piece!

The muzzle movement was based off of something i saw my dog doing the other day- he like- swung his head around like that- and i thought it was cool :,0

No problem, hope it helped!;w; Oh, I completely understand! It's not something impossible for a dog to do, it's just one of those weird little things they do that you don't expect them to do, you know? Like, my dogs will sit down in very weird positions, and when I try to draw them to practice anatomy, it looks wrong on paper even though that's just how they are sitting!:'D

I like it! I think it's cute!
The only thing I'd point out is that the muzzle looks a lil funny. I can't really place my finger on what's up w/ it but idk, something there isn't 100% spot-on so yeh.
I'd give ways to improve but I literally can't draw animals so that'd be a bit ironic to give drawing tips on animals

tbh i dont ever watch animations but this one of ur first tries and ur being this smooth is really impressive???? i love the hair especially (like, the dark blue) how it grows ahhh
anyway i love it
