I don't disagree. I never romanced him, but I watched the YouTube videos as background for the chapter - to try to understand his character better. And they were...creepy. Not Jacob as such (except for "The Prize", of course), I actually came away with more appreciation for him. But Hale's delivery of virtually every line was just strange. I'm sure it wasn't her fault, I'm sure she was directed that way, but...

I know a lot of people love Hale's voice and she is good at what she does, but beside my raging machismo, I can't really play a a Fem!Shep, I find her voice annoying.

Funny thing is, that most players (females at least) find the male voice just as annoying, if not more so. Must be something in the wiring, or simply I have not taste. Then again, I come to like Jack, but not as a romance option and once I got the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, I saw no reason to romance anyone else but Liara. Again, I like Ashley, but like Jack, I don't buy her Freudian excuse for her behavior.

As for Kaidan, I wish they hadn't dumped out the hay option, just so I could say that I'm not the kind to sword fight in bed. Instead the conversations between him and a MaleShep just have this homoerotic undertone that he has with no other male character.

As for Tali, well, I would consider doing another ME1-ME2 run, stay single on ME1 and romance her in ME2. She is too damn kawaii to ignore.
