[1/5]For 's pirates contest: CONTEST TIME! (Extension!)
The squeakers were fun to draw, I kept their designs fairly simple. Likely all the squeakers would have different combinations of colors and single accessories.
All of these were done using 's watercolor marker technique, fyi. I'm a little obsessed with it.

I love the green one. It's a really nice earthy shade of green with subtle brown accents, and I love that little compass.

Thanks! Throughout the set I tried shading with complimentary colors, some were pretty smooth but others like the green contrasted a lot more. I just need to control the effects so the whole piece matches.

Ahhh my heart has a soft spot for the Squeak Squad, I thought the intro to this game when the whole gang and a bunch of these little guys stampeded over Kirby was adorably hilarious. The shading and the marker combinations you used look great, by the way!

I really like Squeak Squad, the Squeaks are some of my favorite characters, though I thought the game was pretty easy.
Thanks, I tried to shade with complimentary colors, so it would be a bit grayer. Also I used the same set of about 9 colors for all the portraits.

Yeah, Squeak Squad was a short but sweet game, so I was happily surprised when the gang came back for Mass Attack; I'm glad HAL didn't forget about these guys.
Whoa, you must've done a lot of color mixing if you started with 9 colors...but the portriats all look fabulous!
