Another really great job here. Β You've made some very interesting choices in terms of laying out this piece in order to create the mood of desperation and despair. Β For one, Applejack is not in the center of the piece - in fact, nothing is in the center, just empty floor, surrounded by her failed attempts at clothes making. Β But Applejack is still the focal point - she is lit from above, and her orange body and blond hair stand out from the dull greens and purples of the clothes around her. Β Applejack's disheveled hair and pose speak to the turmoil that she, who has always been so competent at everything she did, suddenly finds all around her.


Again, excellent job with both shading and conveying emotion. Β Thank you for producing this wonderful piece.

You know what I found especially touching about poor AJ in this episode?Β  She boarded up the boutique and looked to be quitting like Fluttershy was going to, and then she went right back to trying again anyway, despite being doomed to failure.

Love the concept, and the image is beautifully executed!

Brilliant work, I love how the warm/cool colors contrast to make such a nice focal point. The piled clothing is a wonderfully disturbed contrast to the orderliness of Rarity's shop, and the broken/obscured spiral hints marvelously at madness, and AJ so upset that she's taken off her hat...Well done. Just well done all around. Right in the feels.

I literally cried at that scene of the episode. Don't know why, non of the other girls hit me in the feel like Applejack.

Her scrunched up muzzle, the desperate teary-eyed look on her face, it was just too much. Like she was screaming "Please help me somebody! I'm dying here!"
