Matt Damon and Friends return for a near micro adventure in Downsizing 2!
If Disney is doing another Honey, I shrunk the Kids Movie then why not have a Downsizing 2 Movie?
If only we could have several Movies to compete in the Shrinking Fantasy we all would love to see in the Theaters!Β
I think Hollywood is really missing out as they could do Movies like the Incredible Shrinking Man and Fantastic Voyage reboots as well.

The problem with this movie is that it is extremely boring

Yes it was, but again the giant Nurse scene was a bonus to see after seeing many Movies avoid the whole Science Laboratory fantasy which I can understand would make any Movie longer than it should but thanks to Downsizing we got to see a glimpse of it.
They could do it justice with a sequel only to have Matt Damon shrunk again to save a life of a giant Woman like his Wife who backed out of the shrinking process and now deals with a virus that's about to take her life.
We all know Hollywood would not bother doing a Fantastic Voyage reboot but Downsizing could venture into that fantasy as with any shrinking Movie including Honey, I shrunk the kids or the Incredible Shrinking Man where size matters and to save a life of a loved one like a Wife or Mother would be a good sequel that is if the Kids or Husband could not return to normal size.

It's actually a great idea. I watched the first one and I truly like it.

The best part of Downsizing was the shrinking process as other Movies never went that far to have giant Women collect the shrunken Men, but wish they did more as in testing their Male subjects so we could see more giantess content.
As you know the Movie would remove any more giantess scenes which I'm sure most People had hope to see and the story went in a different direction that would not match Movies like Honey, I shrunk the Kids or the Incredible Shrinking Man adventures that most of us enjoy with the visual effects.

I have not seen the movie. But to add to what you said, I would have liked some shrinking women along with that.
Though from what I have seen, people were pointing out how stupid the movie's premise was. That it would have been the start of a horror movie. With normal sized animals being the monsters. So it would be terrifying.

In my opinion, movie was immensely disappointing.Β It failed as a comedy, it failed as a social commentary, it failed as giantess movie. It could be so much better!

I know and again they wasted the whole shrinking fantasy to make the story have some kind of social commentary when they could have just shown actual footage of the ice melting and how pollution heats up the Earth.
I guess anyone would need to be a deep thinker to know where the Movie was going as everyone has their own views of what kind of statement it was trying to make.
The fun fact out of this whole virus epidemic is the Weather as we now have cooler days in May and yes some Snow in the Northern States when the past 30 years it was nothing but Summer heat thanks to the pollution during our Spring time.
So there was no need for us to shrink ourselves just have this crazy virus make us stop the damage we was doing to this Planet.
Just think if we stop everything for another 2 years and not just the past 2 Months..I guess Hell would freeze over.Β
I think Karma is in play here...I sincerely hope the World leaders see this and will change their policies to combat Global warming since whatever they was doing the past 30 years just made things worse.
