When I was younger, my father bought a small fish tank for my brothers, sister and I. We filled it with all types of different fish and my brothers each picked out a fighter fish. Needless to say, by the end of the week all the fish died because the fighter fish killed them (and each other) and they died 'cause the tank was not sanitary or big enough for them all.
Now my older brother has his own (much larger) fish tank with some small fish and one fighter fish. The fighter fish was fine, until my brother bought a batch of some larger fish about his size. Of course then he was all territorial since they were bigger and not like his usual, smaller companions. It was sad to see him go back to the pet store. =\
