This is an alternate reality/universe/world/history map, showing the continent of Avropea ( what's known in our world as Europe ) during the Great War.

This Great War ( which was similar in pace to World War I, and the various factions and nations here had the same tech level as the real countries during WW1 ) was started by the mighty Drakelian Empire and the various allies it had. The main reasons were simple: they wanted a place under the sun.

Not much else beside that. Just that this Great War started in 1912, as the map itself says, and is still ongoing throughout 1924. As you can see, the Drakelian Empire and its trusty allies managed to gain quite a lot of territories in the continent, even though they've been pushed back a lot by now.

The dragon on the title of the map is the Drakelian Empire's symbol. I re-used it from the Coat of Arms and Flag of Albion-Hibernia ( its wikibox image can be seen in my gallery ). It is entirely unrelated to this map though.

The various countries in this map have their borders based on various geographical conditions. Rivers, mountains and such.

There were various great battles and rebellions to the Drakelian Empire's expanse, and some are shown on this map. Names are completely made up though.

I also wanted the map's graphical style to appear like an old film/movie or slideshow of sorts.

Also, just to clarify, the countries of the real, our world, have never existed in this scenario, at all, in any form.
