Description Woohoo random G-T spammage for joo!
Title mainly because I was listening to the song "This is Home" by Switchfoot, which really describes my whole G-T/dA experience. You should definitely listen to it, especially if you want to get the whole feel to this picture. ^w^ Even though I spent only like, 2 minutes on the background, it's a very personal... sketch thingy. The place in the picture is real; a flower filled field behind a school near my house. Countless times my best friend, little sister, and I would hunt for faeries in the woods right next to the field, or just fall asleep in the sunshine. I always feel so at home there, as I do here on dA, in this loverly G-T community where I really feel like I can belong, and be myself.

Anyway, 'twas drawn during OGT's (Ohio Graduation Tests) after I finished, and GEEZ was I tired! XD So I just drew myself sleeping since I couldn't actually sleep.

I can relate

There's a long, hilly, street going next to my house, that during the fall, provides that exact feeling of just... childhood.

Yea, I still remember the first time I started actually visiting this community, and going on the chatrooms and stuff, it felt amazing, cause' even with my regular account (which I made a bit ago) I was never REALLY partaking in any devArt communities. But what I found here is just something amazing, it really feels different then any other place I've been to (which is a LOT of places, real and forums.)

I love you guys, and that's for the G/T as well as everyone around.

Oh yea, that's the great part, absolutely no drama (unless it's RP, in which case the more the merrier )

I was never exactly meek, I was just choosing not to take part cause' I just didn't want to get involved with even moar communities, since every single one has ended up as a hate-filled funfest of spam and trolls.

And I'll be honest, from the outside, this place looked like it was gonna be loaded with it.

But it wasn't, so everybody wins!

I was a bit shy, especially since for a while I was watching the GT community from afar (from my other account) since I didn't want my IRL friends to know about my GT obsession.

Yea, I kind of went right from the get go to an alt, I didn't want ANY traces whatsoever to my regular account. I get paranoid about people just tracing everything to my real account and then telling it to everyone they know :C

Anyways, about Trolls, if I see one, I try to stuff it under it's designated bridge again, who let them out of their posts/cages anyways?

Aww, This is so sweet! You're really taking a liking to "adapting music to visual art." This is such a wonderful scene, it looks so comfortable... and I love the detail you put into the tail.

Aww, this is pure cuteness!! It feels so relaxing just looking at it ^^
I love these magic places. I also had a little forest near my home where I would climb trees with my friends. I also remember us collecting all kind of leafes and berries and create 'magic potions'. Of course we never drank/ ate them. My specialty was a special shrinking potion >

I remember doing things like that! 8D We used to play magic school, and I always taught about mythological creatures. For wands we used chopsticks!
