This drawing is inspired by the beauty of the rain; that gray and apparently sad sky that brings the crucial element of life with it, is one of the natural events that most fascinates me. I love to go out to soak whenever I can because the sensation of feeling the water running through my body reactivates my energy. A hot drink is also a good company as you watch the drops fall and slide down the window pane.

Water is life.

One of my favorite characters from my childhood was Babs Bunny from the Tiny Toon Adventures show, with whom I spent hours of tremendous fun. Here she is enjoying the rain in an open field. It´s also supposed to be windy but I couldn´t give such effect to the scarf she is wearing (like lines that denote movement or something else). In any case, I sincerely hope that you like this drawing. Sketch made with HB pencil on some recycled paper, lineart and coloring with Photoshop CS5.
