Description This is Ruedi's eye (singular) as he was flying past me, in the rain I might add. It's not a very good photo, so I ask your kind indulgence. I'm working on refining my "eye" technique. I've got some other "eye" attempts but I'm afraid to post them because I've no idea what they will look like once I've got them posted on DA and they get put into full view. I'm afraid none of them will be any good...I suppose I could delete the deviation before anyone could view it....hmmm...

Anyway, here is our blue-eyed beauty flying by me in the rain so that all I could get was one eye...oh well...

Thanks, Taryn! I had my doubts, seeing as how I didn't even capture all of his head in the shot! LOL! But you know what the conditions were like...not my best work, for sure, but I wanted to feature his beautiful eyes, or, um..eye!

Love his eye but I didn't know wolves had blue eyes.

Hi there. Wolves actually do not have pure blue eyes. Although, gray eyes are actually a shade of blue, but not a true blue.

He's one of the two wolves at Wolf Park who have these silver/blue eyes--I believe it's Ruedi's mother who passed along this beautiful anomaly. I hadn't realized they could have the blue/silver eyes too until I saw them.
