this is my take on what Brainy's mom would look like had she been in the Episode "In Your Dreams."According to one of the many comic universes, Brainiac 4 was the leader of the Dark Circle. Actually, if you pay close attention, you'll notice several similarieties between the two throughout the episode, just from the clothing:
1) the dark circle outfits had a blue circle on each shoulder and on the chest, which were all connected with black lines... OMG! it's the brainiac symbol!
2) the masks worn made their heads look dome-like, which is what Brainiac 1.0's head looks like
3) their armor make their bodies look Coluan (it's the large chest, then sudden petite thin waist thing that does it)
4) they look like friggin' robots!
anyways, I tried to base her outfit as a mix of B5's outfit and the Dark Circle members' outfits.

Anyways, I based her outfit off of the Dark Circle members from the dream episode, but made it more leaderish. Afterall, she is the actual leader of the Dark Circle.

Thats a beautiful interpretation of her. That would have fit in the show perfectly. Though I understand why they didnt put her in (what kid wants to see a mom try and kill their own child) It still made me sad that they kept her out of the line up of villians. Thats.... like.... as bad as changing cyborg's backstory for teentitans D:>.
But the line art here is beautiful and the coloring is better than i could dream of doing, and it flows very naturally with the style of the show.

in the ??Post-Zero Crisis?? comic sereis, not only was she the leader of of the Dark Circle, but a complete psychopath!
If my research is correct, she was completely emotionless even as a child, and that causing others pain and suffering was the only way she was able to feel emotion. I saw one comic scan where she was screamming out in ectasy "Yes! Yes! Oh, Glorious!" JUST FROM WATCHING A BUNCHA SHIPS AND A PLANET GET BLOWN UP!!!
She's worse then the fatal five, if you ask me. Apparently Brainy's mom also captured him and kept him for her enjoyment! I mean, if she found pleasure in destroying/torturing the lives of stangers, imagine how enjoyable it would be for her to torture her own son! She planned on keeping him so she could torture him on the verge of death, but would never actually let him die, because then she's lose her toy.
after one of Brainy's Legion friends, Gates, knock her out, she was institutionalized in an asylum.
so... yeah. i'd say she'd make a killer villain.
