I love how everything is nice, detailed, and so realistic until you spot the fried Pidgey.

I also wanted to say that I like how you did the wings for your charizard. The way the green membrane wrinkles as it's folded up is a very awesome detail, and I love the claws you're put on the end of the 'fingers' in the wing.
You have a very creative way of depicting realistic pokemon and I'm so glad you've come back and have started to draw some more. ^___^ Keep up the awesome work!

This is awesome though, love the color usage and the emotion you can feel from the trainer in the foreground despite not actually seeing their face. I always wished they had made an adult version of the pokemon show that would address this sort of thing, lol. Like the fact that people ATE pokemon (I mean they HAD to, right??), and the fact that peoples pokemon definitely had to get killed...a lot. I mean it specifically says in the pokedex that if a charmander's tail goes out, it dies for goodness sake, lol. Throw a surprise water attack at that and you are screwed! lol. It's really a very war-like society when you stop and think about it, despite how cute and fluffy it is in the show/games.

I was always disturbed as a kid about that issue. I was sure they would be eating pokemon in the show. They would have had to! People would die and be crazy depressives everywhere if they were just vegetarians. It would make sense with Miltanks, Doduo/drio, Tauros to eat those. Since in the anime they are farmed. I am sure to address this in my comic.
I believe a Charmander's tail would be a little more difficult than one little wetting to go out. You'd have to soak it to kill it. (Say...Tail in the ocean xD)Like the tail has natural oils that keep it aflame? Okay now I am talking out my ass. I will stop. xD

I like your idea for the charmander tail! Like maybe it secretes an oily substance that keeps the flame going. This is why I love your comic, haha, you are very good at coming up with logical reasons for the very illogical pokemon universe XD
I've been thinking of doing a pokemon comic myself, but a bit AU. Set in a less technologically advanced world where pokeballs were never invented (or haven't been yet), and war rages across the world between different nations. That sort of thing.
War was always one thing I wondered about too. There's hardly any mention of it, except for with that one electric type pokemon gym leader in the original RB&Y games, and he was a sergeant or colonel or something.
