Hm, never thought about it. But i think not, since Banu is really a spirit being, so any food she ate would be...something spiritual lol. If she does eat at all.

True, true. But isn't she solid at times? (suddenly an image of Banu choking Guppy pops up X'D) Like could she eat solid mortal food but not need to? Or perhaps make her sick? I'd really be interested in hearing your consensus over that spiritual food if that that really becomes a thing!

Oh yes she is actually always solid, so maybe spirit isnt the most correct term for what I have imagined for her. Maybe more like a snake ascended to a higher state?
And Im thinking she lives off of a particular magical food grown in the spirit pond, perhaps the spirit rats scuttling around that area, which maintains her magical state, but she is able to eat mortal food if she wants to try it-and I think that is a fun idea about getting sick actually, so I think eating much mortal food will usually put her under the weather, so Keetan has to keep her away from his snacks most of the time

Well, there are some ghosts that can touch people right? I'm sure it works the same way with spirits? (I'm clearly not the expert here X'D) Ascended to a higher state could be what a spirit is anyhow.
Ohh, that would be really interesting! And scary to think that another spirit could possibly be capable of eating her X'O
Oh, when you say maintain her magical state, does that mean that Banu has a possibility to revert into a regular snake?

The idea of the spirits getting sick makes me think of a person trying to keep a pet (like say a dog) from eating human food.
"No Pooka, that's gunna give you gas!" or "Snuffles spit that out before you get a tummy ache!"

Yes that's how I was kind of imagining it, she could revert to a normal snake, losing what
conscious mind she has and her spiritual abilities to connect with Keetan. But I imagine
that would take a few months of eating nothing but normal food, which would also mean
she would have to go through several waves of sickness. And I don't know why she would
ever be in that situation XD

haha I love that imagery, it makes me want to draw something like that with her and Keetan

That's a really cool concept! It gives a lot more dynamic to her character, and a sort of responsibility to a centaur like Keetan, who cares for her. And true, it's very unlikely Banu would put herself through that or Keetan would subject her to that kind of torture. He's too kind!

Oh man! I'd love to see you draw something like that! (but let's be honest anything with your centaurs will make me squeal)
