Some cats are very jealous and they like all their owner's attention. I had a few like that.

It isn't about that... My older cat Maza never liked to be petted even. If you touch her with more than two-pats she will growl at you, and then scratch you. My younger cat is the opposite luckily. The thing is, they didn't grow up together, Maza is with us already 13 years and she has been the only animal in house for... several years. She hasn't been used to animal-company and now she is too old for that. As soon the younger one approaches her, she growls and moves meters away. She doesn't allow her to touch her, she doesn't want to sleep on place that has her scent, neither eat near her...X) She is simply totally, keeping distance from her, even though they are together two years already.
