Ok so I totally spazzed and had to fix my crappy background.

I've always imagined this story takes place in England in the fall in the middle ages. This is probably due to P.C. Wredes wonderful version of the story.

There are two roses bushes, gone to winter, by the front door, one white and one red representing the girls, and planted by their mother when they were born.

I'm not sure what an English forest looks like but I hope I at least caught the "flavor" of one?
