I normally don't comment or fave DDs, mostly because they get endless amounts of them already, but this one is special. Everything about it is just endlessly fantastic! It must've been hard to find the perfect shot for it. Weevils are tricky little creatures!

Love it and when I was younger this was one of the most mysterious animals I saw and I always wanted to catch it, but I couldn't so I imagined it was really a little bird or a fairy ^^

we humans are a boring species... no... I take that back... we're actually kind of interesting, alot even... I mean, as far as we can considder ourselves interesting as we tend to validate everything to our own standards... on the scale of evolution... is a species that destroys his world more developped than this haselnussbohrer? well perhaps if the haselnussbohrer had better conditions to reproduce it would also destroy the world as it has no knowledge about its actions and the boundaries of its resources... we humans do... some humans do... we are conscient... although we are only conscient about our only consciousness... perhaps we are only subconscious to a conscience that is actually the world... besides... the world wasn't always like this... perhaps were not destroying it at all... but just changing it... there are no standards of what the world should look like, is there?... woops, lost my train of thought now... sorry to spout all this nonsence... this picture just made me think how awesome and yet perhaps insignificant this world is... I know... I should get a life... think less... don't forget to breath...
