You drew them both exceptionally pretty, but in regards to your message I have three things to say. Firstly, considering that Katniss threatened to refuse to lead the rebellion and forsaken all the districts if Peeta wasn't forgiven by the rebellion, she is in absolutely no position to criticize Bella. Secondly, Bella is not suicidal, she is just reckless, and until becoming a vampire lacked any sense of self-preservation. And finally, Bella has never, never, ever expected anyone to save her. Since the very beginning she has been fighting to her fullest to take hold of her life and destiny.

I have to agree with you about Katniss. Everyone talks about how independent she is and how she's so much better than Bella because Bella depends on Edward to save her while Katniss takes care of herself, but the truth is, Katniss is also completely dependent on Peeta. She has complete mental breakdowns and becomes completely helpless without him. That's why the capital captured and tortured Peeta, because they know that's how they can cripple her. Don't get me wrong, I love Katniss, but that's because she thinks she's completely independent and take care of herself but turns out, she's vulnerable, even helpless at times. Never got into Twilight, not my thing so I can't really make a judgement on Bella's character.

Katniss can't kill Bella simply because no matter how close to death bella is she just gets better/worse the Author trie kill her 21 times. Even her kid tried to kill her

The point of having Vamp Bella would be to see what trumps what: the ability to fall back, access and lay traps or the Twi vamps' hunting powers. Who's hunting who? That's what I wanna see.

That is so unfair! Twilight is romance novel, it's supposed to have a love triangle. Besides, though I haven't read The Hunger Games, I'm pretty sure that the love triangle makes the characters more human and relatable. And wasn't that in part what drove Katniss during Mockingjay?

For me, even if there was no love triangle, it still would be a great story, not only a "fight 'till death with lots of blood" story...
(altough I like Peeta and Katniss very much and I'd miss them u.u)
I read this book talking about The Hunger Games' filosofy, and I could imagine how the author's head worked...
It has many criticisms of society, how it works and how it's main governors manipulate the people, especially with the "Panem et circenses" politics (which not coincidentally gives the name to the country where the romance takes place)... and well, many other deeper things...
I liked this book very much... Twilght doesn't reach the importance of the Hunger Games' plot... is something that we can't even compare...
I read Twilght. I really did. And i like(d) the first book very much... but when a read the second, I almost didn't finish it and the third, I didn't finish at all... I don't even mention the fourth, cus I didn't even read it. The romance turned out to be poor and too cheesy >_>
In other hand I devoured The Hunger Games' trilogy in three days and I kept thinking about it for a looong time /o/

On the outside Katniss seems invinsible and strong but even though she wouldn't admit it she couldn't live without Peeta either. I think that makes Katniss a deeper, more complicated person. She probally wouldn't jump off a cliff but still. The main difference between Katniss and Bella is that Katniss takes care of herself while Bella expects Edward to save her.

One of the things i like about Katniss is that she can handle herself even in the most sad/dificult situation and that she's very realistic. She doesn't expect to be saved by someone. She knows that this kind of feeling and expectation doesn't fit in her world.
Her character is definitely better built that Bella's. She has the strength to play the role of the heroine of a complex story while Bella's character doesn't have this strenght in Twilight.
