To my dear friends Dani Athina and Anabela because their surreal and conceptual Artworks are very inspiring.“On his very first day of existence, the just born Angel chose to join the forces of Darkness guihena.deviantart.com/art/New… , then, he was sent to Earth...
But, that wasn´t good days to begin on his dark assignment… because he had to be witness of how a good man was cruelly tortured and killed without having done anything to deserve it… the Angel just couldn’t understand it, that didn’t make any sense for him, because that kind of suffering should be for all those who deserve it, not for the innocent ones…
So, the Dark Angel, newly initiated, while dropping a tear from his eyes, took his horns with his hands and rips them out from the root, because he was repented of the choice taken… but, there was too late for him…”
This is not about Jesus of Nazareth himself, but about the way he died, because it was an absurd death… and a few more come to my mind: Socrates, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, etc.
Sometimes Humanity acts in strange ways, mostly destroying what they don’t like or they don’t understand, like witch-hunting as example; or because of Political or Financial interests, like military and civilian wars, land invasions, drugs war… on all that and much more, there are many, many absurd deaths; we are killing each others, we are killing between brothers…
But, the most important death is nearby, we are in a nonsense race to killing Earth, and nobody really cares… so, do “Dark Angels” or the “Devil” himself need come to Earth to kill anything?, what for?, they don’t need to do that, because we're already doing that very well, they just need take a seat (with a big portion of popcorn) and delight their view…

You'll see, the red color is "on purpose" as a conceptual thing, because supposedly he remained skinless since he was born... i made him like that in order to do something different than the usual "humanized" angels (because as you might know they are not human at all), but i got your point, one beautiful human body is more aesthetic than the red one.

Well I understand your point, that it is wrong to kill those who try what is right in their eyes. It's nice that the angel saw what is wrong with the humanity, but it's sad that he'd already chosen the side wich is now in his opinion wrong. But the humanity can't help itself from this faulths, because we teach our children the way we used to live and how to act with these kind of things. I think faulths can't be erased from humanity. We are teached to do the wrong, always, in everything you do. And my conclusion is that this is what we're ment to do, because there can't be wrong things if there aren't any good things and so it is the other way round.
It's a beautiful story and very interesting, I really like those kinds of philosophy.
But this isn't going to hold me because you can't live happily if such ideas are are always chasing you.

You got the point beautifully right... the only difference between the "angels" and us, "suposedly" is that we do have "free will" and they don't, so, we can correct our lives if we are "falling" into the dark side...
Your conclusion is the best of all, we need to understand what's wrong on this world in order not to get caught on it, but to try to make it better.

Your work is really beautiful,and the way i see it,it is perfect technically,
i can't see something that i would do differently..
The position of the body,the red color,the wings,the dark background,the cross on the hill,
high above the Angel,the lightnings..They all fit perfectly and they are just as they should be..
As for the concept,what can i say..Your concepts are always so deep,so well explained,
the emotions they create are so deep,so shaking..
It is very difficult for me to put my thoughts in english,that's why my comments are so brief,
i wish i could use the language better,i'd love to be able to discuss with you my thoughts about God,Christ,humans,the meaning of life,of the suffering of Man,but i don't have the facility to do so..
All i can say is,that i always love to see your works,i'm always looking forward to see a new work from you,and i love reading your comments..My thoughts,my beliefs are so similar to yours,

Excellent piece that can be better appreciated in zoom.
