Description
So I made the first resin pour and measured it wrong so had to make smaller pieces from it. I took some pebbles and a pine needle from my entrance hall floor and put them into one. It looked like a small pond with stuff in it so since I had a puddle, I had to make the ground around it. Muddy bottom and shore, rocks ans grass/moss.
The two little ones around it are inspired by Rots from Kena: Bridge of Spirits. I haven't played the game, but it looks cute. Concept art has leaves and flower on it's head so so does these. The smaller one is a cernit colour mix that was left over my first resin pour project so that colour is very much in place there. I still don't want to think this is just left overs, but inspired by already existing materials.
The bigged one has one upper tooth and the smaller one had a big bottom tooth. I made three teeth, but the mouths were too small to use all of them so I made a smaller spirit and gave it one. I still have one extra random, baked tooth for use later. So the extra material cycle will never end. The reeds and lilly pads were also baked in advance to be glued on top of the puddle. So this one took two bakes for parts. Actually only the teeth were baked twice, lilly pads and reeds were glued after the main bake.
The reeds are there because this resin cast is a necklace mould so it comes equipped with the hole spike. So what perfect spot to stick reeds in.
The base is 6,2 cm long and the flower on top of the bigger ones head comes up to 3,8 cm tall.
