quick sketch today , I have some questions about Spinosaurus and families .1. A sail has evolve for protecting Spinosauridae dinosaur's back ?
It's hard went some animal biting spinosaur on back ,this zone spinosaur can't use a claws or teeth from predator like Carcharodontosaurus from behind side and Sarcosuchus from beside .
I will paint this sketch soon ,maybe .So busy in my works now.

Awesome sketch!
In the sense of protection, it could at most make the animal look much bigger. Like the animal you have on the right. If it were to suddenly get back up, the attacker would rethink its actions. Other than that, the spine is rather easy to break if you have a bite force exceeding 1 ton. There is also the possibility that spinosaurus had a hump instead of a sail, sort of a fat reserve. Keep on being awesome
